MEGAN MORONEY
Megan Moroney [Megan Ann Moroney] has been blazing trails of Music City since her single "Tennessee Orange", the second single from her 2022 debut album, peaked at top 10 on the US Hot Country Songs. The 27 year old has already proven she's not only got the voice but also the talent for songwriting. She blends traditional country with a modern edge, adding a nice refreshing twist to today’s country scene.
Her songwriting feels authentic, maybe because she told us her song ideas are "really based off personal experiences." She also told us that during writing sessions, she's "not trying to write the next hit...she's just writing what is relevant to her life and making it as good as possible.“
Her latest song is called “6 Months Later” - Megan tells us the song idea follows the old saying “what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger” and she says while that is true she has also found it to be true that what doesn’t kill you... always tries to come back into your life. So she wrote this song on a boat about it, it’s a fun vibe and Megan loves singin’ it!"
